A historical marker was unveiled at Parque Zaragoza Neighborhood Park on Friday May 5, 2017.  Parque Zaragoza was established in 1931 for Austin's growing Mexican-American population.  It is named for Gen. Ignacio Seguin Zaragoza, the hero of the Battle of Puebla on Cinco de Mayo 1862.
